Troubleshooting Integration Error: “A compensation record was found with a pay rate of 0 or less”

Issue

When running a data sync from CoreHR to Sage 100 or Sage 300, you may encounter the following error message:

"A compensation record was found with a pay rate of 0 or less."

This error indicates that one or more employee records in CoreHR have a compensation record with a missing or zero-dollar pay rate, which is not valid for syncing to Sage.

Resolution

To resolve this error, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to CoreHR and navigate to the affected employee's record.
  2. Go to Payroll > Compensation.
  3. Look through the compensation records and identify any with a $0 value or a missing compensation amount.
  4. Click on the problematic compensation record to edit it.
  5. Update the compensation amount to a valid value greater than $0.
  6. Save your changes.
  7. Rerun the data sync to Sage 100/300. The error should now be resolved.
