Due to new standards and changes from our Job Board partners, the "Auto Refresh" feature of the ATS will be deprecated and deactivated for users beginning 6/24/26.
As the auto refresh option will be deprecated, we recommend the following:
- If you would like to "refresh" a job posting, you can close and repost a job to ensure you can maintain a steady stream of candidates, but please be aware that these types of actions may not be supported by job boards.
- If you are using Indeed, refer to our resource to help optimize your job postings for Indeed.
Disabling Automatic Refresh
- Click Administration from the menu bar of the ATS.
- Click Account Information from the list. It is the first option listed.
- Scroll down and toggle 'Enable Automatic Refresh'.
- You should see a message that any active job postings that would qualify for refresh will be auto-refreshed within 24 hours.
- Click Save Information at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
FAQs
- Do jobs no longer expire after 30 days, and it will remain active and posted until we either pause or close them?
-
Indeed has a Free Job Post Policy, as shown here. This policy states that each free job stays visible for up to 30 days. The policy applies to jobs posted directly on Indeed outside of the Arcoro ATS (also referred to as hosted jobs). This policy will continue to affect jobs that reach the 30-day limit.
The free jobs policy does not apply to ATS-integrated jobs, which are those jobs sent to Indeed through the Arcoro ATS. These jobs don't have an explicitly defined expiration date, but in practice may lose visibility over time. Indeed has communicated that users can best position their jobs by following the Job Posting Integrity Guidelines.
