Setting up, resetting, or Looking up an employee's ExakTime Mobile PIN code is a simple process in ExakTime Connect. When setting up an employee's PIN, it can be helpful to establish a consistent pattern that cannot be easily guessed among your employees, such as a private number that all employees would have.

Navigating to Employee PIN
- Go to Manage and click Employees.
- Click the edit icon next to the employee to view their employee details.
- Scroll down toward the 'ExakTime Mobile and Connect Access' section. The employee's PIN will be to the right of the ExakTime Mobile Security Role.
- If no "ExakTime Mobile Security Role" has been selected, use the drop-down menu to select one. If you want to make adjustments or create a new security role, you can do so from the Security Roles page.
- If you need to change a PIN, simply click the PIN field and enter a new PIN.
- The PIN must be 4-10 characters and unique.
- If there is a mobile number entered, you can send the PIN via SMS with the provided button.
- Save any changes made.
PIN Warnings
PIN is already in use
If you receive the message that a PIN is already in use, then an active or inactive employee already has the PIN that you are trying to assign. You can either assign a different PIN to the employee or find the employee who already has the PIN and remove it from the employee PIN.
