Timecards and timesheets on the Arcoro app allow your employees to review their own time and related information, including comments and time records that may require attention, for the current pay week and up to 5 previous pay weeks. Your higher-level employees, such as supervisors or managers, can also review and manage time for employees within their viewset. Your leaders can also be permitted to edit time as well from the app, so they can make adjustments in a pinch. We still recommend performing the majority of time edits on the Arcoro website, as it allows you to view and edit more information, such as mobile forms and more.
If you would prefer to let your employees review their time from the website, you can refer to the following dedicated article.

Things to Note
- Time cards on Mobile will only show locations, cost codes, comments, clock in/out times, and hours/minutes. Information such as FaceFront photos, vicinity to locations, equipment, etc., can only be viewed on the Timecards menu of the website.
- The date range for timecards on Mobile is pay weeks (7 days) starting from the first day of the week (as configured from the "Time & Attendance" tab of company settings). The date range for time cards on Mobile will be independent of your company's pay period.
- Employees can view the current pay week and up to 5 previous pay weeks. Reviewing any other date range will require access to the website to review the time.
Set Up Time Entry Method
The time tracking method is selected by an Administrator on the website and determines whether they will track and review their time with a time card or a timesheet.
Time cards are typically used by field employees to track when they start and end their workday. Timesheets are typically used by office or salaried staff who only need to track how many hours they worked for a given day.

Granting Permission to Time Cards/Timesheets
A Mobile Security Role determines if an employee can access time cards or timesheets. An employee's viewset will determine if they can see the time cards/timesheets of other employees
-
Go to Manage and click on Security Roles.
- Click the Mobile tab. By default, we offer Administrator, Supervisor, and Employee. More roles can be created for other groups of employees if necessary. The Administrator role cannot be adjusted.
- Click New Role to create a new role or the eye icon to modify an existing role.
-
Enable the appropriate Timecard/Timesheet option for the security role. "View" is suitable for everyone, while "Edit" and "Delete" are reserved for Managers and Admins.
- For employees using timesheets, you may want to consider creating an exclusive security role for them so they can edit their timesheet with their hours worked.
- Save any changes. Repeat this for any other security role that will need permission.
- If you have created a new security role and are not familiar with assigning a security role, you can refer to the following articles to assign the role through the employee profile or assign the role through the Security Roles page.
- Your employees will need to sync their copies of the app to receive the new permission. They may also need to log out and back in to see menu changes.
Employee Resources
You can refer to and provide any of the resources for employees/supervisors on how to use time cards and timesheets.
Timecards
- Employees reviewing their Time Card
- Supervisors reviewing other Time Cards
- Supervisors editing Time Cards
Timesheets
- Employees Reviewing and Managing Their Timesheets
- Supervisors Reviewing and Managing Employee Timesheets
Employees and supervisors can access either of the above-linked articles through the help section of the app.
Crews/Groups vs. Employee Viewsets
When using the employee crews/groups in conjunction with employee viewsets, crews/groups will ignore viewsets and will show the supervisor all the employees of a group, even if an employee is not part of their viewset normally.
Reviewing Time Edits
Any time edits made from the Arcoro app can be reviewed with the audit trail reports in the website, similar to reviewing time card edits made in the Arcoro website.
Time Entry Warnings & Restrictions
Depending on your time card time entry settings, mobile time card editors may see warnings and restrictions when trying to add/edit time records. If you want to see/adjust your time card time entry settings, you can refer to the following article.
The warning will let them know if the time record will exceed a certain threshold. They can still add the time record, but just be aware that it may be longer than expected.
The restriction will prevent them from adding/editing a time record that exceeds a certain threshold.
