Assigning Phone Numbers & Users for Text Messaging in the ATS

If you are interested in adding this feature to your ATS module, please contact your sales rep/account manager for more information.

The "Text Messaging Numbers" page allows you to view your seats, the telephone number & users of the seat, assign users to your phone numbers, and view the remaining messages for the month. 

After a phone number has been assigned to a seat and users have been assigned to the phone number, users can begin sending messages from the appropriate pages throughout the ATS.

Navigating to Text Message Numbers
  • Click Administration from the top menu bar.

  • Click Text Messaging Numbers from the list on the left-hand side.

The "Text Messaging Numbers" page will list the telephone number for a seat (if any) and the users assigned to the seat. Towards the right of the telephone number will be the remaining and total message allowance for the seat. The text messaging allowance will automatically reset each month.

Assigning a Phone Number

  1. Click Auto Assign Number or Choose Number to open the desired menu:

    • Auto Assign Number - A random open phone number is selected for you.
    • Choose Number - Enter an area code and select a phone number available for the area code.

  2. If "Auto Assign Number" is clicked, a random phone number will be generated for the seat. Click Complete Setup when finished.

  3. If "Choose Number" is clicked, enter the area code in the provided field and click Generate Numbers. Select the desired phone number from the list and click Complete Setup.

Assigning a User to a Phone Number

  1. Click Assign User under the telephone number.

  2. Select the user(s) from the list of available users or search for the desired user with a partial/full name. Click Assign User when finished.

    • The user will still need permission to the appropriate pages to access the text messaging menu, such as permission to job postings, candidate pool, and/or candidate profile.

Special Consideration

  • Up to 3 users can be assigned to a phone number at a time.
  • If your account has multiple seats/phone numbers, a user cannot be assigned to multiple seats/phone numbers at the same time. They can only be assigned to one seat/phone number at a time.

Removing a User from a Phone Number

Click the trash can ATS - Icon - Trash - 00.png icon towards the left of a user and confirm the removal to remove an assigned user from the phone number.
