You can keep an electronic copy of a driver’s license, certifications, or other relevant documents within the employee’s Electronic Filing Cabinet.
Navigating to the Electronic Filing Cabinet

While in the Onboarding module, click Electronic Filing Cabinet from the top menu bar.

The Electronic Filing Cabinet will list your employees.
Opening a Document
- Select the document to delete from the drop-down menu.
- Click the ... button under the Action column.
- Click Open Document.
- Your document will open in a new tab/window for you to review. In the example below, we have opened the policy document.
Uploading a Document
- Click the ... button under the Action column.
- Click Upload Document.
- Either drag-and-drop the file or select the file from your computer. Then select the document type from the drop-down menu. If you would like to add a document type, you can refer to the following article Upload Document Types for Onboarding Policies
- Click Upload and Save Document.
Delete Document
Only documents uploaded through the above method can be deleted. Documents that were filled out by new hires cannot be deleted. A deleted document from the Electronic Filing Cabinet cannot be restored or recovered.
- Select the document to delete from the drop-down menu.
- Click the ... button under the Action column.
- Click Delete Document.
- Click Continue to confirm the document deletion.
Exporting Documents
Export Documents lets you export all the documents of a specific type. Doing so will let you download a zip file containing all the selected file types.
- Select the employee(s) to export documents.
- Click Export Documents.
- Select the document/form type.
- Click Download.
- Your web browser should download a zip file containing the documents.
- If you receive an error when trying to download the zip file, there may be more employees than can be exported in a single session. You will need to deselect some employees to export multiple documents successfully.
