The 'To Go List' allows an administrator to create "To Do List" records that the employees can see from their employee homepage. The 'To Do List' option must also be enabled for the employee homepage to appear.
Expand for Navigation to Employee To Do List
Expand 'Employees', expand 'Employee Homepage', and click To Do List. If you are viewing the employee profile, hover over 'Employee Page' and click To Do List.
The 'To Do List' will provide the following columns:
- To Do Item - The name of the item for reference and what will be shown to the employee.
- Active - Indicates if the item is still active.
- Date Satisfied - Date when the item was satisfied/completed.
- Modified Date - When the item was last modified.
- Modified By - Who modified the item.
- Note - Any notes entered by the creator and if the item was dismissed by the employee.
The Actions drop-down menu allows you to:
Create or Edit To Do Record
- Use the Actions drop-down menu and click Create To Do Record to create a new to do record or click the name of an existing to do record.
- Enter the following information:
- Active on employee homepage - Select the Active checkbox to display the to do record on the employee homepage.
- Description - The description will be displayed on the Enter the description.
- Date Satisfied - (Optional) Specifies when the item was satisfied.
- Notes - (Optional) These notes cannot be seen by the employee.
- Email Notification to Employee(s) - (Optional) Send an email to employees.
- Apply this To Do Item to all Employees - (Optional) Create the item for all employees.
- Click when finished.
- The employee will see their 'To Do List' from the 'Information' page of the employee portal where they can dismiss the item.
- If the option to email the employee is enabled, they will receive an email like below containing the item description.
Deleting a To Do Record
- Select a to do record with the checkbox(es) towards the right of the record.
- Use the Actions drop-down menu and click Delete Selected Records.
- Confirm the deletion.
