The End Point Settings tab provides the ability to identify which Payroll End Point will be used to connect Core HR to the Payroll Provider selected on the General Settings tab. The information on this screen must be configured to utilize the Payroll Features.
This tab is only visible to Enterprise Users when the Account is accessed via the Enterprise Portal.
Expand for Navigation Steps to End Point Settings
- Expand 'Settings' and click Payroll from the menu.
- Click Settings from the menu bar.
- Click End Point Settings.
- URL Endpoint - The URL of the WCF Service that Core HR will connect through
- Company User ID - The User ID configured within the Payroll Provider Software that the HRIS will use to access data
- Company Password - The Password configured within the Payroll Provider Software that the HRIS will use to access data
- Temporary File Path Location - The shared network location on the Millennium Server where reports are generated when executed by Millennium. This field is only needed if the Payroll Entry functionality of EZPay will be used or if the client will be loading pay stubs and W2s into Core HR.
Test Connection and Version
The Test Connection and Version button should be clicked once the information on this tab has been saved to confirm that Core HR is able to connect to the URL End Point. This button can also be used to validate the version of the WCF Service running at the configured End Point URL.
