User Role Permissions for Onboarding

A user's role and permissions can determine what they are able to see and do within Onboarding. Some permissions are only available for certain roles. 

Navigating to User Permissions
  • Click Administration from the menu bar.

  • Click the Users tab.

  • Click Add Users or click ... and click Edit for an existing user.

Roles

Onboarding offers 4 different roles depending on a user's need.

  • Administrator - Allows the user access to the Admin menu for setup purposes and to view new hires, but cannot be assigned as a hiring manager for new hires.
  • Manager/Admin - Has access to all features and can be assigned as a Hiring Manager.
  • Manager - Allows the user access to new hires as a hiring manager, but cannot access the Admin menu. 
  • Kiosk - If Kiosk Mode is enabled for your account, the Kiosk User role will be available. The Kiosk rule allows the user access to hiring templates that are enabled for the locations they are assigned to. They do not have access to the Admin menu and cannot navigate to other areas of Onboarding.

Edit New Hire Record

Create New Kiosk Hire Allow a Kiosk user to create a new Kiosk Hire outside of the Hiring Templates.
