"Alerts and Notifications" is the primary page where you will:
- Create custom alerts and notifications to send to your employees.
- Check any pending and review the details of your custom alerts/notifications
- Archive previous custom alerts/notifications
- Specify the delivery method(s) for custom alerts/notifications and other features, such as daily time card approvals, scheduler, and more.

Navigating to Alerts and Notifications
Go to Tools and click Alerts and Notifications from the menu bar.
Custom Alerts and Notifications Menu
The "Custom Alerts and Notifications" menu should be the initial page when navigating to "Alerts and Notifications".
A. Menus
- Custom Alerts & Notifications - View your current customer alerts and notifications.
- Settings - View and adjust your settings for features that use the alerts and notification feature. Click any of the links below to view the delivery method settings of the feature.
B. Buttons
- Create Alert - Create a new alert for your employees.
- Create Notification - Create a new notification for your employees.
C. Columns
- Actions
- Created On - When the alert/notification was created.
- Scheduled For - When the notification is scheduled to be sent. This column will be blank for alerts or for notifications that are not scheduled to be sent in the future.

Status - Clicking the column header allows you to filter the list. An alert/notification can have the status of:
- Pending - Notification is scheduled to be sent.
- Sent - Alert/Notification has been sent to the recipients.
- Failed - None of the recipients have received the alert/notification.
- Archived - Alert/notification has been archived.
- Enqueued - Alert/notification is being processed and awaiting next status update. This status will not be listed in the column filter.
- Sent On - When the alert/notification was sent to the intended recipients.
- Type - Indicator if it is an Alert or Notification. Clicking the column header allows you to filter the list.
- Subject and Message - A preview of the subject and message text that has been added by the creator of the alert/notification.
- Recipients - The number of employees to receive the alert/notification.
- Creator - The user who created the alert/notification. Clicking the column header allows you to filter the list.
View Alert/Notification Details
It can be important to review pending or sent notifications in case your employees have questions/concerns.
Click the icon towards the left of an alert/notification to view its details.
Archive an Alert/Notification
Archive previously sent alerts/notifications to keep your list manageable and clutter-free.
- Click the
Archive icon towards the left of an alert/notification. If the notification is still pending, the notification will be archived and will not be sent.
- Click the Status column header to filter your alert/notifications to view archived alerts/notifications.
