Workflows are used by your organization to help gather information from you and help ensure that all involved parties complete the workflow in a timely manner.
The Workflow tile will show you if you have any active workflows and workflows that require your attention, and any workflow that you assigned to an employee that is not complete.
Managers will have two ways to navigate to manage workflows:
- Click Workflows from the menu.
- Click Manage Workflows from the employee homepage to view any active, available, assigned, assignable, and completed workflows.
Manage Workflows
The 'Manage Workflows' page will contain five different tabs:
- My Active Workflows
- My Available Workflows
- Manager Assigned Workflows
- Manager Assignable Workflows
- Completed Workflows
My Active Workflows
The "My Active Workflows" tab lists any workflows you have started or those that require your involvement at any step.
There will be columns for:

- Begin button – Workflows assigned to you that have not been started. Click the button to start the workflow process.
- Continue button – Workflows that require action from you. Clicking the button will allow you to continue the workflow from where you left off.
- Blank – When there is no button, the Workflow has been started by you, but the current step is to be completed by another person.
- Description – The description from the name and details of the workflow.
- To Be Completed By – The person who is responsible for completing the next step.
- % Complete – The percentage of the workflow that has been completed. 0% will show when the workflow has not begun.
My Available Workflows
The "My Available Workflows" tab will show workflows available for you to start.
There will be columns for:

- Start button – Allows you to start an available workflow.
- Description – The name and details of the workflow.
Manager Assigned Workflows
The "Manager Assigned Workflows" tab lists any workflow that you have assigned to an employee.

Delete button – Delete a workflow that they have assigned to employees.
- If there is no delete button, then the workflow has been configured to not be deletable by an administrator.

- Description – The name and details of the workflow.
- Assigned To – The employee the workflow is assigned to.
- To Be Complete By – The user responsible for completing the next step.
- % Complete – The percentage of the workflow that is completed. 0% will show when the workflow has not begun.
Manager Assignable Workflows
This tab will list any workflows that have been set up by your admin to be assignable to your employees.
There will be columns for:
- Action
- Description – The name and details of the workflow.
Assigning a Workflow to an Employee
- Use the checkbox at the top of the column to select all employees or select individual employees.
- The “Target Completion Date” is not required but at least 1 employee must be selected to “Assign Workflow”.
- Click Assign Workflow when finished. You will return to the 'Active Employee Workflows' tab and see the new workflows in the list that have been assigned. The new workflows will be shown at the bottom of the list due to sorting.
- Clicking 'Cancel' will return you to the 'Available Employee Workflows' tab and no workflows will be assigned.
Completed Workflows
The "Completed Workflows" tab lists:
- Workflows that are completed where you were a resource in any step.
- Workflows that are completed and denied where you were a resource in any step.
- Workflows you assigned to employees that are completed.
- Workflows you assigned to employees that have been completed were denied.
Filtering Options:
- Employee – Select an individual employee or 'All Employees'.
- Initiate Date – The date entered will show workflows after that date.
- Completed Date – The date entered will show workflows completed prior to that date.
- Workflow Title – Enter the workflow name to filter the workflows list.

Only show my workflows checkbox - This checkbox can be enabled to refresh the list and show only your workflows. Tip:
- If “Only show my workflows” is enabled and you select an employee, the “Only show my workflows” checkbox will be unchecked.
There will be columns for:
- Workflow – The name of the workflow.
- Employee – The employee to whom the workflow was assigned.
- Initiate Date – The date the workflow was initiated.
- Completed Date – The date workflow was completed.

Status
- Completed – Steps that were completed.

Completed – Denied - This status would only show if a workflow step was denied. Hovering over the
tooltip icon will show the reason for the denial.
