Job codes are used to Schedule Evaluations, send Notices, and assign Training and Learning Plans. When selecting to assign something by a job code, the Code and the Title appear in the list. The job code description and position code will not appear and are populated to be informational for the admin.
Code is the only field imported from the import file and/or API. If using an import file or API, Job Codes will need to be created before doing an import.
- From Talent Management, click Account Admin from the menu near the top-right.
- Click Company Setup to open the menu, then click Job Codes.
The job codes page will have columns for:
- Code
- Title
- Description
- Position Code
Clicking the column header allows you to sort the job code list.
Add New Job Code
- Click New Item....
- Fill out the fields for the job code (* - Required)
- Code* - The code is seen in drop-down lists when selecting job codes.
- Title* - The title is seen in drop-down lists when selecting job codes.
- Description*
- Position Code
- When finished, click Save.
Edit Job Code
- Click Edit towards the left of a job code.
- Edit the fields for the job code. For information on the fields, you can refer to Add New Job Code
- When finished, click Save.
Delete Job Code
To delete a job code, it cannot be assigned to an employee. If you try to delete a job code that is assigned to an employee, the job code will stay listed.
- Click Delete towards the left of a job code.
- In the confirmation modal, click OK.
