Using Response Viewer in ExakTime Connect

After employees have completed a form, their responses can be reviewed in various ways within ExakTime Connect. One of the primary methods is the Response Viewer for the Form Manager.

The response viewer will display the 'short text' of a question and the employee's response. The response viewer may not display components of a form that do not have an answer, such as labels.

Expand for Navigation Steps to Response Viewer
  1. Go to Tools and click Forms Manager.

  2. Click Response Viewer from the side navigation.

Using Response Viewer

The 'Response Viewer' page allows users to view responses to forms. 

Date Range

Select a form from the drop-down menu and the date range of responses you want to review. The form can be active or inactive.

The list will have columns for:

    • + - Click the icon to expand and view the employee's response(s).
    • Employee ID - Displays the Employee ID. Click the three dots in the header to filter the list.
    • Employee - Displays the Employee name. Click the three dots in the header to filter the list.
    • Date - The date and time of the responses will reflect the mobile device time when the employee responded to the form. Use the i icon - 00.png icon to view the date/time in UTC.
    • Type - The type of form that was completed.
    • Form Name - The form that the employee responded to.

You will have two buttons:

  • Show Responses - Expand all form responses.
  • Export to PDF - Export a PDF document with one employee form response per PDF page. The export will be based on the currently viewed response list, including the header filters, and only export responses that have been expanded to show. 

Reviewing Responses

Clicking the + or 'Show Responses' button will display the form responses. The 'Short Text' of the form question/prompt will be presented. If you want to view the full question, you can use the 'ExakTime Forms Report' while enabling 'Display Full Question Text'.
