ExakTime Connect features a series of reports used to list certain information in ExakTime making it easy to print or save your previously entered employees, locations, cost codes, etc.
As we will focus on what makes this report unique from others, if you want to better understand date ranges, report formatting options, or filters, please refer to the following dedicated article.
- Click Reports from the menu bar.
- Expand the Lists section to view and click any of the available reports.
The list reports we currently offer are
One of the main benefits of the list report is to quickly update the information for multiple entities (employees, locations, and cost codes) by exporting a list report, making adjustments in a spreadsheet editor such as Microsoft Excel, then importing it back into ExakTime Connect.
When importing a list of employees, locations, or cost codes with the intent to update information, make sure that the ID and Names are exactly the same as they are presented in ExakTime. If the spelling/numbers/characters/spacing differ at all, a new entity will be created instead of an existing entity being updated as ExakTime sees it as a new entity. We would recommend only trying to update 1 entity to make sure that you have set it up correctly and to avoid accidentally creating multiple new entities.
Saving Reports
When saving a digital copy of a report, the options generally available are for a PDF, Formatted XLS, Formatted XLSX, or Formatted CSV.
For some of the list reports, the option to save a CSV copy without formatting is available for easier editing/adjustments in a spreadsheet editor.
Cost Code List
Report Specific Options
- Show Cost Code ID - Show the ID for a cost code.
- Sort By - Sort your cost codes by their name or ID number.
- Display - Only show active, inactive, or both active and inactive cost codes.
- Show Color - The color assigned to a cost code, generally for Keytabs and Scheduling.
- Show French Translation

- Show Category - The category assigned to a cost code for reporting and organizational purposes on ExakTime Connect.
- Show User-Defined Fields - Show the User-Defined Fields, also known as Custom Fields, entered for a cost code.
- Show Mobile Group Membership - The group(s) that a cost code has been assigned to for ExakTime Mobile. If the cost code is assigned to multiple groups, the group names will be separated by a comma.

Employee List
Report Specific Options
- Show Employee ID - Show the ID for an Employee.
- Sort By - Sort your employees by their name or ID number.
- Separate Names and IDs with - Separate Employee names and IDs with a double space, hyphen, or a colon.
- Display - Only show active, inactive, or both active and inactive employees.
- Show Missing Information as Blank Fields - If an employee is missing any information, the field can be set to still appear when generating the report. Otherwise, the blank field will not appear in the report.
- Show each Employee on a Separate Page - If enabled, all the information for an employee will be presented on their own page instead of multiple employees appearing on single page.

- Show EM Security Role - The ExakTime Mobile security role assigned to an employee.
- Show PIN - The PIN that the employee would be using for ExakTime Mobile.
- Show TSC Security Role - The ExakTime Connect security role assigned to an employee.
- Show Username - The Username that the employee would be using to sign in to ExakTime Connect.
- Show Phone and Email Contact Info
- Show Date of Birth
- Show Language - The language set for an employee which affects what language the main portions of ExakTime Mobile presents.
- Show Address

- Show Photo - Show the photo added to the employee profile.
- Show Crew Membership - Show what crew/employee group that the employee belongs to. If an employee belongs to multiple crews, the crew names will be separated by a comma.
- Show User-Defined Fields - Show the User-Defined Fields, also known as Custom Fields, entered for an employee.
- Show Viewset - Show the viewset set for an employee. Will not show which employees they can view, only what the employee's viewset is set to (All Employees, Themselves, Selected Employees, and Selected Employee Groups)

- Show Equipment ID - Show the ID for Equipment.
- Sort By - Sort your equipment by the name or ID number.
- Display - Only show active, inactive, or both active and inactive equipment.
