Sharing Job Postings with QR Codes and Text Messages in the ATS

When job postings are opened in the ATS, shareable job posting links are automatically generated. These links can be copied into text, used to generate a QR code for quick access, or texted to selected contacts.

When the job posting's status has changed to any status other than "Open", the links will no longer be active.

QR codes are special patterned images that phones can use to convert into usable data, such as webpage links. This can be handy at recruiting events, job fairs, flyers, etc., so candidates can scan a QR code with their phone and view your career page or job postings.

Navigating to Shareable Referral Links

  1. Create a new or use an existing job posting(s). When the job posting is "Open", the system automatically generates a unique, human-readable referral link for that job (e.g., hire.arcoro.com/ref/riverside-foreman-a4k8z). The link does not expire and is unique per job, not per send or employee.
  2. View the details of the job posting.

  3. Towards the top-right of the job posting will be up to three options.

Generate QR Code

  1. Click Generate QR Code. A menu will open.
  2. The menu will show your QR code with your company logo, a "Now Hiring" label, job title, location, pay range, a "Scan to Apply" call to action, and the referral URL. This QR code can be saved as a PNG or printed

Send Referral Text

Sending a referral text requires that you have the feature to send/receive text messages through the ATS. If you do not have this feature, consult your account manager for more information.

  1. Click Send Referral Text. A menu should open.
  2. You can select recipients for their job-sharing text message from a saved referral network group, by entering a name and phone number manually, or by importing a CSV of contacts. You can only choose one of these methods to input phone numbers and contacts to send the text message to.

  3. You then preview the text message, including recipient count and a live character count, and can edit the default text before sending. The default message includes the job title and the referral link.
  4. After sending, you will see a confirmation screen listing the number of recipients, a "Sent" checkmark, and the included referral link.
  5. Every text message sent is logged in the Activity History on the Job Detail page, including the username, timestamp, and action.
