How to Enable External Email Tracking

Track email correspondence sent from the ATS to candidates and employees by following the steps below. After email tracking is enabled, emails sent to candidates and users in the system will be recorded in the corresponding Activity History area. To continue tracking the candidate or employee's email response, the “reply-all” button must be used.

  1. To begin, click Administration from the top menu of the Applicant Tracking System.

  2. Click Account Information on the left-hand side from the list. It is the first option listed.

  3. Scroll down to find the toggle next to "Enable external email tracking." Toggle the option to Yes.

  4. Click Save Information at the bottom of the page.
