To make your web browsing easier, many web browsers will ask you if you want to store your username and passwords as you sign in to websites. If you agree to add/save a username/password, you will notice the username and password are already filled in when you return to the website later. This is done by your web browser looking at the URL for the website, seeing that you have a stored username and password, and automatically fill it in for you.

When a website changes it's URL though, your web browser will be unable to automatically fill in the username and password, requiring you to enter your credentials again.

With Single Sign-On (SSO) updates for this year, the URL for the login page will still continue to work, but it will redirect you to a new secure login page so you may need to enter your username and password again initially. If you are unsure of the username and/or password and your web browser has stored your credentials, you will be able to refer to them.

We have provided steps for the most popular web browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Internet Explorer
• Microsoft Edge
• Apple Safari

Google Chrome

1. Click the three dots in the top right.

   

2. Click Settings.

   

3. Click Passwords under Autofill.

   

4. You will see a list of your saved usernames and passwords.

   

5. Click the eye icon to see your password (You may need to enter your computer credentials to view the password).

   

Mozilla Firefox

1. Click the three horizontal lines in the top right.

   

2. Click Logins and Passwords

   

3. Click the website from the left-hand side so you can see the username and password that has been stored on the right-hand side.

   

Microsoft Internet Explorer

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right.

   

2. Click Internet Options.

   

3. Click the Content tab in the following window that appears.

   

4. Click Settings under AutoComplete

   

5. Click Manage Passwords. It will open the Credential Manager window.

   

6. Click the website that you want to check in the following window that appears. You will be able to see the stored username and password.

   

   

Microsoft Edge

1. Click the three horizontal dots in the top right.

   

2. Click Settings.

   

3. Click Passwords & Autofill.

   

4. Click Manage Passwords

   

5. Click the website to see the username. If you want to view the password, you will need to refer to the instructions.

   

   

Apple Safari

1. Click Safari in the top left from the menu bar and click Preferences.

   

2. Click the Passwords button in the following window that opens.

   

3. Once you have entered the appropriate credentials, you will be able to see the stored passwords for Safari.
