Enabling "Crews and Groups" for ExakTime Mobile

Crews and Groups are used by ExakTime to help organize entities for more manageable entity lists such as employees, locations, and cost codes. For a majority of situations, creating crews and groups in ExakTime Connect are better so every user will see the same crews and/or groups when using ExakTime Mobile. For other situations, an employee/supervisor may need/want to create their own crews/groups for their own needs. 

  • Go to Manage and click Security Roles.

  • The ExakTime Mobile tab should already be selected. Select an existing security role or add a new role.

  • Enable the "Crews and Groups" option to allow users with the security role to create their own groups.

  • Save any changes.
  • Repeat this for any other security role that will need permission.
  • Your employees will need to sync their copies of ExakTime Mobile to receive the new permission.
