To help your employees and supervisors be aware of their vicinity to your locations, we offer a verity of different sets of GeoFence alerts:

• GeoFence Warnings & Restrictions - Shows a message while employees are clocking in/out when they try to clock in/out if they are outside the GeoFence of their selected location.
• GeoFence Violation Alerts - Sends supervisors a notification when an employee clocks in or out while outside a known location GeoFence.
  • This feature requires the employee to be using ExakTime Mobile version 2.102. If you or your employees are unfamiliar with the version they are using, refer to our article here to check their version.
• Leaving and Entering Alerts - Send a notification to ExakTime Mobile users with GeoTrakker enabled when entering or leaving a known GeoFence location.

GeoFence Warnings & Restrictions

GeoFence warnings will show a message to employees when they clock in/out if they are outside the GeoFence of their selected location, or outright prevent them from clock in/out. This helps your employees immediately understand whether they are outside the selected location, in case they need to reselect it.

GeoFence Violation Alerts

GeoFence violation alerts can help supervisors identify when employees are clocking in or out outside a known GeoFence, eliminating the need to review employee time cards. While employee time cards should still be reviewed to see the employee's record GPS when clocking in/out, the GeoFence violation alerts will inform supervisors to investigate further with the employee and their time card.

Leaving and entering alerts for ExakTime Mobile can help employees being tracked with GeoTrakker remember to clock in to a different location and/or cost code, such as when they are traveling between locations.
