Document Types allows you to organize items in the Electronic Filing Cabinet uploaded for the employee record (e.g. driver's license, certification document, etc.) by an admin or by a manager/new hire, if enabled.

Expand for Navigation Steps to Document Types
- Click Administration from the top menu bar of Onboarding.
- Click the Doc Types tab.
Document Types Menu
The "Doc Types" menu will provide the following columns:
- Name - The name of the document type.

Action - You can perform the following actions for a document type:
Adding an Upload Document Type
- Click Add Document Type.
- Enter the name for the document type.
- Click Add when finished.
Editing an Upload Document Type
- Click the ... button from the Action column.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the upload document type name.
- When finished, click Save.
Deleting an Upload Document Type
- Click the ... button from the Action column.
- Click Delete.
- The following modal window will appear. Click Disable to delete the upload document type.
