Managing Document Types for Onboarding

Document Types allows you to organize items in the Electronic Filing Cabinet uploaded for the employee record (e.g. driver's license, certification document, etc.) by an admin or by a manager/new hire, if enabled.

Expand for Navigation Steps to Document Types
  • Click Administration from the top menu bar of Onboarding.

  • Click the Doc Types tab.

Document Types Menu

The "Doc Types" menu will provide the following columns:

  • Name - The name of the document type.
  • Action - You can perform the following actions for a document type:

Adding an Upload Document Type 

  • Click Add Document Type.

  • Enter the name for the document type.

  • Click Add when finished. 

Editing an Upload Document Type 

  • Click the ... button from the Action column.

  • Click Edit.

  • Edit the upload document type name.

  • When finished, click Save.

Deleting an Upload Document Type 

  • Click the ... button from the Action column.

  • Click Delete.

  • The following modal window will appear. Click Disable to delete the upload document type.
