What about devices already in use?

If you or your employees are already using ExakTime Mobile on older operating systems than what is listed above, those copies of ExakTime Mobile may still work but are not guaranteed for the future. Those copies of ExakTime Mobile will also not receive any updates until you update the operating system to the latest supported version(s) and may be relying on OS components that may lose functionality.

Please be aware that using older versions of ExakTime Mobile will not receive any bug fixes or new features that new versions of ExakTime Mobile will offer. Also, keep in mind that older versions of ExakTime Mobile are not guaranteed to continue working in the future

What about new users with an old operating system?

  • Android - If an Android user with an older version of the Android operating system is new to ExakTime Mobile, they will only be able to install the latest compatible version of ExakTime Mobile for their operating system version, not the latest version of ExakTime Mobile overall.
    • Please keep in mind that this is not a guarantee either as the Play Store that allows app downloads can change their requirements/restrictions and prevent old devices from installing old versions of ExakTime Mobile.
  • iOS - If an iOS user with older versions of iOS is new to ExakTime Mobile, they will not be able to install ExakTime Mobile until they have updated iOS to the latest supported version(s). If they are unable to update to the latest supported versions, they will be unable to use ExakTime Mobile.

What if I can't update ExakTime Mobile?

If you are unable to update ExakTime Mobile to the latest version, check if the OS is on the latest version. If you are unable to update your device OS to a compatible version, then you will not be able to update to the latest version of ExakTime Mobile. In these instances, the affected employee will need to use an alternate device or obtain a newer device to use the latest version of ExakTime Mobile.
